Update 1.3!!!


HoloTactics 1.3 is here!


Before anything, HUGE thanks to sesield for giving me permission to use their arts for the Hololive sprites, and also for HugeBoar for giving me permission to use their arts for Holostars sprites. Go check their pixiv!


New Features

Campaign Mode now available!

A number of nexus will spawn across the map, and you only have a limited number of characters available. Destroying them will give you new characters to buy in the store. Win the game by destroying all nexus!

HoloID 1 available!

Iofi is a cost 1 support unity that can damage and stun enemies at the cost of stunning herself;

Risu is a cost 3 knight unity that can accumulate defense bonus and exchange it for magic bonus against enemies;

Moona is a cost 5 caster unity that can create an eclipse, globally damaging ALL enemies and also debuffing their chance of hitting you;

HoloID 1 synergie skill- Every HoloID 1 character is freed from any stun cc it has received, and also receives +1 action and 50% of it's max mana.


Other Changes

All sprites changed for chibi cute ones, as it fits better;

Enemies no longer has info above their heads as it usually led to confusion with your own characters;

Synergy banners related to skills such as Eldritch and Rodents now work with the following idols: Sora, Suisei, Aki, Matsuri, Mel, Choco, Shion, Noel, Marine, Kanata, Botan, Iofi, Risu, Moona. However, I have update their skills as well, so now they spend an action to use their skills as well. Soon every idol will have to spend an action to cast a skill too.


A Few Notes

I'm aware there is a bug when a fleeing enemy finds their nexus to heal, can cause the AI to not pass it's turn. I'm trying to fix it. For now, just save the game, quit to main menu and load it again, it will reset the AI. There is a few old bugs as well that I could not handle it for now, but I have them noted and will be fixed.

As I said before, HoloTactics will receive only small updates from now. I really want to redo a lot of visuals, specially related to skills feedback. Next updates should be focused on this, as well bug fixing, remake of some skills to better fit the game, and HoloID 2. However, my PC has just died the day after I did the last backup and saved it in my pendrive. I'm currently updating the game and writing this from an older laptop borrowed by my dad, but I can't really work with that. However(2), I'm currently REALLY working as well! So, as soon as I upgrade my computer (need a new RAM and probably an SSD), I can get back to work.

I want to experiment a few things to make the game more interesting. I feel like being focused only in combat doesn't really make justice for all the map sizes and exploration. Perhaps create structures that can help you, like towers or roads? I'm not sure yet.
